Class B · management. The output of this process is decisions and reporting, not a unit of product, so the effect is measured in avoided rework and disputes plus the foreman's time. The adjacent loop is night security: alarms wired to a monitoring centre are handled by a licensed partner, not by us.

Today — by hand

Progress is visible only to whoever is on site. Photos sink into WhatsApp with no date or zone, the parte diario is filled in at night from memory, the owner calls to ask «how's it going», and in a dispute over hidden work there is nothing to show.

One site timeline: phases, zones, a «before → during → after» chronology, flags to review. The owner gets a digest without calling, the certificación comes with a dated archive, and at night the site is under cameras.

03 · How it works

A real case: the foreman took six photos of the rebar before the pour and dropped them in the chat. The AI pinned them to the «structure» phase and zone, dated them, added them to the timeline and to the evening digest. A year later those six frames are the only proof of what is inside the concrete.

RULE 01

Computer vision sees the obvious but doesn't measure and doesn't replace an engineer: a flag on a photo calls the técnico, it doesn't pass a verdict on quality.

RULE 02

Safety flags come from a specialised CV model, not the language model: per Anthropic's own docs LLM vision is approximate — Claude here sorts frames and writes the reports.

RULE 03

People in the frame are not identified: «person without a helmet in zone 3», not a surname. Facial recognition is barred by Anthropic's policy — and the task doesn't need it.

RULE 04

Recordings live no longer than a month (LOPDGDD art. 22.3); longer — only the material of a specific incident or dispute.

Recordings and data

Storage in the EU, one month at most (LOPDGDD art. 22.3); longer — only the material of an incident or dispute. A DPA before hook-up; EU/US transfer for the AI analysis is disclosed (DPF + SCC).

People in the frame

Workers and their representatives are notified in advance (art. 89 LOPDGDD, art. 20.3 ET); «zona videovigilada» signs at the entrances — the AEPD template. No covert recording, no audio, and no cameras in changing rooms or rest areas. The DPIA draft is prepared before launch.

No surveys, no rating of people

Flags are anonymised, faces are not recognised and workers' performance is not rated — the system is designed outside the AI Act's high-risk profile; the qualification is confirmed by your lawyer.
