Use of artificial intelligence
Transparency about how we use AI in our services and on this site.
Last updated: 16 July 2026
This is an English translation. The legally binding version is the Spanish Uso de IA.
At litcore.ai we use artificial intelligence both in the services we provide and, where applicable, in elements of this site. We apply a principle of transparency and human oversight, in line with Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the AI Act), whose transparency obligations (art. 50) apply from 2 August 2026.
When you interact with an AI
- When we offer an assistant/chatbot or an interactive demo, we clearly inform you that you are interacting with an AI system and not a person, at the point of interaction (for example, "You are talking to an AI assistant").
- Our bots operate under human oversight: you can ask to speak with a person.
AI-generated content
- We may use AI to draft content; published content is reviewed by people, who take editorial responsibility.
- If we publish realistic images, audio or video generated or manipulated with AI (content that could be a "deep fake"), we label it as AI-generated.
Human oversight and quality
Relevant decisions and deliverables are reviewed by people before use. We make no automated decisions with legal effects on users through this site.
AI in video surveillance and site monitoring
When we provide AI video surveillance or photo-and-video site monitoring services, we process the images on the client's behalf (processor, GDPR art. 28, under contract). The client is the controller and is responsible for the legal basis, on-site signage and informing affected people, including employees (arts. 22.4 and 89 LOPDGDD and art. 20.3 of the Workers' Statute; and, where applicable, Spain's Ley 5/2014 on private security). AI assists detection but makes no automated decisions with legal effects on people.
